Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower (broken into small florets)
  • 4 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic granules
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper

To Garnish

  • 2 Spring onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Chili flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to gas mark 6/200℃/400℉ and line a large baking tray with grease-proof paper. Add the cauliflower, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, mirin, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper to a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix until well combined. Leave to marinate for 15-20 mins.
  • Remove the cauliflower from the marinade and place on the baking try. Cook for 20 minutes until golden brown, turning half way through cooking.
  • Meanwhile, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and cook over a medium-low heat to make a glaze. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and brush the glaze over it. Cook for a further 5 minutes in the oven. Remove and top with the spring onions, sesame seeds and chilli flakes. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy.
