- 1 tsp Dried parsley
- 2 Spring onions (chopped)
- 1 Red chilli (sliced)
- Rice (to serve)
Instructions
- Add the Brussels sprouts to a small pan of boiling water. Bring to the boil and then simmer on medium-high for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, prepare the batter for the sprouts. Add the milk, rice wine vinegar, hot sauce, plain flour, corn flour, garlic granules, and onion granules to a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and whisk until well combined, creating a smooth batter. In another large mixing bowl add the breadcrumbs.
- Add each Brussels sprout to the batter and toss until well-coated. Add to the breadcrumbs and ensure they are fully covered with the breadcrumb coating. Heat the air fryer to 180 and cook the sprouts for 10 minutes, tossing frequently.
- In another bowl add the Franks hot sauce, parsley, and salt and pepper to taste. Toss the fried Brussels sprouts in the sauce until well coated. Add to a serving bowl with rice, top with spring onions and fresh chillies, and enjoy.
