Hot and Spicy Cauliflower Steaks
Ingredients
- 1 Cauliflower (cut into thick steaks)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Garlic granules
- 2 tbsp Onion granules
- 2 tbsp Cumin
- 2 tbsp Chilli powder
To Serve
- 150g Long grain rice
- 2 Corn on the cob
- 1 Red chilli (sliced)
- 4 Spring onions (sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200℃/400℉/gas mark 6. Add the cauliflower steaks to a large pan with water just covering them. Bring to the boil and boil for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside on a plate.
- Meanwhile, add the garlic granules, onion granules, cumin and chilli powder to a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Rub the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil and then add to the seasoning. Rub the seasoning evenly across the steaks until well covered.
- Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking tray and cook for 30 minutes (turning halfway through) until tender and browned. Remove from the oven and serve with rice and corn on the cob.
