Quick and Easy Vegan Waffles for Any Occasion
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Plain flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/4 cup Melted vegan butter
- 1 cup Vegan-friendly milk (I used soy)
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- Maple syrup (optional)
- Blueberries (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron to medium heat. Grease with butter or oil. In a mixing bowl sift the flour, and add the baking powder and salt. Mix until combined. Add the sugar, melted butter, milk and vanilla extract. Mix until you form a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the waffle maker so the batter covers the base of waffle iron but do not overfill or the mixture will spill out. Close the waffle maker and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy. Repeat the process until the batter is used up. Serve with maple syrup and blueberries, and enjoy.
