We need to be mindful of our thoughts, emotions, actions, and reactions because they determine our happiness. If you’re a night owl like me this might seem like a huge task. However, it’s a lot easier than you may think and the benefits are insane.

Getting up an hour earlier creates time that you would have been wasting away in bed. You can use this time to work on your self-development, read, work out, brainstorm business ideas, etc. You can transform your life by implementing this one practice into your life.

This minor change will create a major shift in your life and is one of the best changes I’ve made to my life. You will make huge progress in your life and with your goals with this one simple shift in your daily routine. You will have an extra 365 hours, if you use this time wisely, you can create the life of your dreams and reach all of your goals.

Limiting the amount of snacks you have won’t just do wonders for your waistline, it will boost your self-esteem and happiness. No one feels good about themselves after an emotional binge on unhealthy food.

Even cutting back on one snack a day will start a ripple effect that will change your eating habits to become healthier. By removing even one snack a day you will build on healthier habits which will improve your self-esteem and confidence in your abilities.

If you pick up your phone as soon as you wake up, the chances are before you know it an hour of your time has gone from mindlessly scrolling. Furthermore, you will feel bad comparing yourself and your life to others on social media, and you will have wasted time you could have used more productively.

Not picking up your phone first thing in the morning is a game changer for your day and how it plays out. Spend the time you would normally spend on social media feeling bad about yourself doing something to improve yourself. This extra time spend productively can really help to transform your life. You could read, journal, exercise, listen to a podcast, work on a goal, or enjoy a nice relaxing bath. All these activities make you feel good about yourself and boost your self-esteem. Try this out for a week and see how much better you feel in your life.

Taking time each day to spend alone will help to boost your confidence, happiness, and mindset. It’s important to prioritise yourself and your happiness, to avoid burnout or becoming overwhelmed in your life.

We can always create more time in our lives to work on our goals if we’re being truly honest with ourselves.

Even if you start by spending 10 minutes of your day working on your goals this will have a positive impact. Over time it will add up to major shifts in your progress. Furthermore, you’ll tend to find you start creating even more time because you’re excited about how much you’re achieving.

Giving yourself daily focus will help you to tackle your daunting and never-ending to-do list. Set yourself 3 goals that you could easily achieve that day but that are important to you. Getting all of your thoughts out of your head before bed is an amazing minor change that has a huge impact on your life. Journaling before going to bed will help you switch your brain off and let go of any negativity you’ve been holding onto.

Writing down a few things that you are truly grateful for before bed will also help you to switch your mindset to one of appreciation for your life and will boost your happiness.

You could also write down how you want your following day to go and how you want to feel. Mental rehearsal of your upcoming day will help to prime your brain to focus on what you want and how you will achieve it.
