least want to

If you wake up feeling unmotivated, lethargic, or scared to do something you need to get done, take action immediately; this is the best time to do it. When you do something when you really don’t want to, it boosts your willpower and self-discipline massively. You grow most when you’re out of your comfort zone or when you overcome something challenging. Pushing through and getting the job done when you least want to will boost your productivity and mindset.

When you put something off one day, it soon becomes a habit to keep putting it off. If you’re always saying, “I’ll start tomorrow” or “I’ll start on Monday”, 9/10 you never do. It’s time to start asking yourself why you’re putting your life and progress on hold.

Just do the task now, regardless of if you feel ready or you can’t be bothered, stop making excuses and just get it done. You’ll feel so accomplished after and it will change your mindset to be more proactive and motivated to get more things done in the future. You will see the results and the positive effect it had on your mood and self-esteem.

Remember

The time you least feel like doing something is the best time to do it because it will encourage you to get even more done and reach your goals faster. It boosts your confidence because you’ve done something when you didn’t want to and just wanted to be lazy.

The more you push through and do things when you don’t feel like doing them, the more you’ll train yourself to just get things done straight away because you’ll feel amazing and accomplished after.

It makes you feel proud of yourself, relieved, and happy that you’ve finally done it. Additionally, it helps you to overcome your negative mindset and procrastination because you’ve pushed through your obstacles and got it done.

More often than not, the thought of doing something is much harder than actually doing it. Once you start, you’ll wonder why you put it off for so long.

When you don’t feel like doing something, think about how good you’ll feel when you do it. This will boost your perseverance and help to motivate you to take action.
