Loaded Tuna Fries: A Quick and Delicious Snack Idea
Loaded tuna fries with sweetcorn, spring onions, salsa and cheese.
Ingredients
- 500ml Sunflower/vegetable oil
- 500g Maris piper potatoes (cut into fries)
- 300g Salsa
- 150g Canned tuna (drained)
- 150g Canned sweetcorn (drained)
- 150g Cheddar cheese (grated)
- 4 Spring onions (chopped)
- Dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high. Heat the oil to medium-high heat in a large pan. Add the fries and cook for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to remove excess oil, and season with salt to taste.
- Transfer the fries to an oven-proof dish and top with the salsa, tuna, sweetcorn, and grated cheese. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the cheese has melted. Sprinkle with the spring onions and parsley to your liking, and serve.
