Hummus

Hummus made with chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic and spices

Ingredients
  

  • 400g Tin cooked chickpeas (drained)
  • 60g Tahini
  • 60ml Lemon juice
  • 30ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 30ml Water
  • 2 Garlic cloves (roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin

To Serve

  • 1/4 tsp Paprika (optional)
  • Pita bread (optional)
  • Tortilla chips (optional)
  • Pepper slices (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, oil, water, garlic and cumin to a blender. Blend until smooth (add a little more water if it's too thick).
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with paprika to serve. Enjoy with vegetable sticks, pita or tortilla chips.
